ABOUT ME
At TNDR•TUFF emotional well-being and healthy skin are equally valued! This means that every treatment is rooted in the health of mind, body, and spirit….the whole.
We will weave strands of organic plant-based skincare, gentle yet firm bodywork, and knowledge unique to your skin to move toward your personal goal(s) beyond simply skincare, both in the treatment room and in your home care rituals.
As a holistic esthetician, who is also a fat queer gender freak, my priority is to bring this care to the freaks and sluts who have been told that it's not for them. The folx who have been made to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome in conventional spa environments. The folx who have told themselves that they don't deserve this care.

re: PURPOSE, GROWTH, CREDENTIALS
As the years pass it becomes more and more challenging to pinpoint where my journey with plants began, but I know it was much less a beginning and more of a coming back to. Coming back to playing in golden gate park and the urban forests of San Francisco as a child, creeping into a community garden to sneak a bite during summer break. All of our beginnings are rooted in plants. We are all plant people. That’s why our bodies–skin and all– respond and harmonize so profoundly when we use plants as allies in our health; it is our natural state of being.
I came back to plants in my early 20’s in Oakland, CA, back in 2011. We were hungry young punks then, so we began growing food on vacant lots for ourselves and the nearby community. As the years passed, plants as food transformed to include plants as medicine. Soon after moving to Tucson in 2014 I got a job at the local herb store where I began connecting people with plants. Eventually I would formally study herbalism at the California School of Herbal Studies in Forestville, CA in 2018. I was immersed in nature, living quietly in a yurt tucked away in the forest. That is where my roots in holistic care took hold and where my journey as a holistic esthetician would evolve from. In 2021 I attended Pure Aesthetics, a natural skincare school in Tucson, where I received a formal education in all things skin. In April 2022 I graduated and have been serving my (queerly) beloved (we are gathered here to gay) community ever since.
